The Download Center provides access to all the data behind the blue and gold maps.
Recipient Reported Data (Blue Maps)
The figures displayed on the blue maps are based on data submitted by recipients. Using the Recipient Reported tab below, you can download all recipient award data for federal contracts, grants, and loans in a National Summaries or a State Summaries files. You can also access a National Change History file, showing all changes recipients made to their reports, and a National Late Reporters file that provides details on recipients that reported after the October 10 deadline. If a recipient reported an incorrect or invalid congressional district, the code “ZZ” appears in the “Congressional District” field as a placeholder. The recipient will change the report with the correct congressional district during the next reporting period, beginning January 1, 2010,
Definitions of the headers used in the recipient reported data can be found in the
User's Guide v1.0.1.
Agency Reported Data (Gold Maps)
The gold maps draw on data from three sources. The homepage map is based on weekly Financial and Activity Reports* filed by federal agencies receiving Recovery Act funds. That data can be downloaded from the Agency Reported tab below. The gold map in the "Where Is the Money Going?" section is based on data from USAspending.gov and the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS). To access that data, click on the Text View of Data in the lower left-hand corner of the map.
