Recovery Board to Post the Identities of “Two-Time Losers”

WASHINGTON – Recipients of 1,036 awards representing $583 million in Recovery funds failed to submit spending reports as required by the Recovery Act for the quarter that ended December 31, 2009, according to the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board.

Recovery Board to Post Corrected Data from Latest Recipient Reports

WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, February 10, Recovery.gov will post corrected data from recipients of contracts, grants and loans allocated under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Recovery Board to Post New Data From Recipient Reports on January 30

WASHINGTON – On Saturday, January 30, Recovery.gov will post new data from recipients of Recovery contracts, grants and loans for the quarter that ended December 31. Improvements to the website, including new search functions for jobs and recipient awards, also will be introduced.

In all, data from about 160,000 prime and sub-recipient award reports will be posted on Recovery.gov by early evening. This number includes reports from recipients that filed for the first time in the October- December quarter, along with updated reports from recipients that filed for the period that concluded September 30, 2009.

New Job Search Feature, Other Improvements Announced by Recovery Chairman Devaney

WASHINGTON – The Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board will introduce a new search function on Recovery.gov on Saturday, January 30, that will provide detailed information on job opportunities across the nation.

The feature was announced today by Earl E. Devaney, the Recovery Board’s Chairman, in his Chairman’s Corner column, posted on Recovery.gov. Devaney also announced other website enhancements, among them an advanced search capability for awards made to recipients of Recovery funds; simplification of the Home Page; and creation of a Map Central landing page.

Recovery Act Reporting Period Extended until January 22, 2010

WASHINGTON – The Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board, acting to provide the public with as complete a picture as possible of Recovery Act spending, has decided to allow recipients to submit reports until midnight, PST, January 22.

The change gives an additional week to recipients to get their reports filed at FederalReporting.gov. This is the second reporting period under the Recovery program, and recipient data will be posted on Recovery.gov on January 30.
