High-Performance Green Building Being Added to Downtown Denver’s Landscape
Byron G. Rogers Federal Office Building and Courthouse Project Expected to Save or Create 2,000 Jobs
DENVER — Today, the U.S. General Services Administration will kick off a massive modernization project of the Byron G. Rogers Federal Office Building and U.S. Courthouse, turning the 1960s structure into a high-performing green building with state-of-the-art cooling systems, windows and other features expected to cut the building’s energy use by 70 percent each year and save taxpayer money over the long term.
