The 220 ft. (67 m) long replacement of the Valley View Bridge will feature five traffic lanes, trail and bike paths, decorative lighting, and a pedestrian sidewalk. Destroyed by a devastating flood in 2004, the Valley View Bridge connected the southern and northern areas of St George. Following the flood, a temporary two-lane structure was built, but was prone to bottle-necks due to it inadequate size.
