Crews return to work on stimulus-funded I-5 repair project near Stanwood
STANWOOD – Crews will resume work on the stimulus-funded I-5 repair project near Stanwood starting Monday, March 15. The project was temporarily put on hold for the wetter, colder winter months. Now that spring is nearly here, crews will continue repairing broken concrete panels along six miles of southbound I-5, between Starbird Road in Skagit County and State Route 532 in Snohomish County. The $9.2 million project is completely funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
