Rhode Island Announces $2.3 Million Recovery Act Grant for Energy Efficiency Program for Residents who Heat their Homes with Deliverable Fuels
Governor Donald L. Carcieri and the Office of Energy Resources today announced that National Grid has been awarded a $2.3 million Recovery Act grant to offer consumer incentives for residents who heat their homes with propane and oil to make energy efficiency improvements. Under this program, residents who heat with oil and propane will be able to request a free home energy assessment through National Grid’s EnergyWise program.
