A group of partners in the mission of providing safe, low cost housing for Washoe County senior citizens met today for a tour of several developments in northern Nevada. Jean Whaley of the Treasury Department, Charles Harvey of the Nevada American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA,) and Hilary Lopez of the Nevada State Housing Division were on hand to view the latest efforts of the Silver Sage Manor, Inc., a Reno-based non-profit that was formed in 1991 and is dedicated to the development of affordable senior homes.
