Soil and Water Cleanup Projects at the Nevada National Security
Site Site cleanup work at the Nevada National Security Site (formerly known as the Nevada Test Site) has been underway since last year, and many projects have been successfully completed. An estimated $54 million in Recovery Act funds have been allocated for accelerated soil remediation, building demolition, and groundwater monitoring wells.
