Caltrans Provides Safer Travel to Motorists on Highway 99 in Butte County
BUTTE COUNTY– Butte County – Caltrans today announced it has completed repaving of a 4.5-mile stretch of State Highway 99 near Biggs in Butte County. The $18 million project received $9 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act). “Thousands of motorists will benefit daily from a safer roadway along this two-lane section of Highway 99,” said Acting Caltrans Director Malcolm Dougherty.
