Major Actions Taken to Date

As of May 30, 2013, EPA has obligated over 99.8% of its $7.2 billion ARRA allocation. Outlays have now exceeded $7.07 billion (98.86%) and five EPA ARRA programs, the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF), the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF), the Clean Diesel Emissions Reduction program, the Leaking Underground Tanks and the Superfund abandoned hazardous waste site clean up program, have now outlayed over 98.8% of appropriated funds. EPA's Brownfields (93.2%) program continues to make excellent progress as well.

Major Planned Actions

EPA will continue to monitor expenditure progress of all ARRA grant awards to meet the requirements of OMB M-10-34 which governs the expenditure of ARRA funding by September 30, 2013.
