All data on the blue maps and in the Recipient Reported Data section comes directly from the recipients of federal contract, grant, and loan awards (entitlements and tax benefits paid under Recovery are not included). In this section, you will see the recipient data for two periods: February 17-- September 30, 2009 and October 1 -- December 31, 2009. On some pages, the data is cumulative to include all recipient reported information from February 17 -- December 31, 2009. However, the jobs reported by recipients are for October 1 -- December 31, 2009 only.
Recipients and federal agencies will continue to review the October 1 -- December 31 reports and make corrections until March 15, 2010. Final recipient data for the current reporting period will be posted on March 17, 2010.
