| Quarterly Activities/Project Description |
The following subcontractors have a proportion of their contract included in our ARRA funding, 5 Star Electric, Pace Plumbing, ASM Mechanical, Sirina Fire Protection, Automated Logic and NY Roofing. This quarter we have seen the manpower on the project increase from an average of 400 trade's people to in excess of 440 trades people on both ARRA and non-ARRA funded work. 5 Star Electric, is providing new high, low voltage, emergency and fire alarm electrical systems. The systems include all associated major equipment as well as, distribution components, i.e. transformers, panel boards, controllers, conduits, wiring, terminations, etc. Pace Plumbing is providing new building plumbing system. The systems include all associated major equipment, as well as all pressure, relay and circulation pumps, tanks i.e., rain Harvest, including siphonic drains and pipe, portable water, sanitary waste, storm systems and finish fixtures. ASM Mechanical is providing new heating and air conditioning systems. The systems include all associated major equipment as well as, steam distribution piping and exchangers, hot and chilled water distribution piping, all mechanical room development, including setting and terminations to chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, etc: duct distribution, i.e., supply, return exhaust, fresh air and the installation and testing of the fin tube perimeter radiation system. Sirina Fire Protection is installing the buildings sprinkler fire protection system. The system includes fire pumps, Siamese connections, sandpipes, fire hose cabinets, piping sprinkler heads and all associated controls and alarm interfaces. Automated Logic, the building control contractor is providing all major equipment associated with the Building Automation System, including control devices, wiring, etc, for the operation and monitoring of HVAC systems. NY Roofing has substantially completed the installation of all the new roof systems, including the green roof area. |
