 State/Territory Totals by Agency

Recipients now report quarterly on the total funds they were awarded, the funds received, and the estimated number of jobs paid for by Recovery funds. The table represents data submitted by recipients for  February 17 -- December 31, 2009. To see the agencies that awarded Recovery funds to particular state, click on the [+] next to the state name. To see the recipients of the awards, click on an agency name. For the details about the award, click on “award #.”  This funding information does not include entitlements and tax benefits paid out under the Recovery program.

When recipients reported for the first time in October, 2009 for February 17 - September 30, 2009, some recipients misidentified their awarding agencies as government groups that, in fact, don't issue awards. In addition, some recipients entered incorrect state codes for the places of performance. If  a recipient entered MA as the state where the work was being performed but the place of performance was Maryland, the award funds were allocated to Massachusetts not Maryland. These inaccuracies will continue to be reflected in the data if the recipient did not make a correction during the reporting period in January, 2010.

To put the data in context, per capita information - computed using the resident population data from the U.S. Census Bureau as of  July 1, 2009 - was added.
