Quarterly Activities/Project Description The Nez Perce Tribe in partnership with private partners will build wireless high speed internet access infrastructure to areas within the Reservation currently underserved. The project will enhance delivery of high speed internet service for public safety and emergency service entities, Northwest Indian Community College, community libraries, and bolster economic development opportunities. During the 1st Quarter of 2013 the Nez Perce Tribe finalized middle mile equipment testing across in the project. Last mile access equipment configuration and testing has been completed on all eleven sites. Field technicians are conducting site surveys, connecting subscribers and community anchor institutions to the network. Project management staff, provides overall administrative functions; Computer Technician II, works to design, develop and troubleshoot telecommunication network equipment; Cable Technician I?s, provide installation and support of telecommunication hardware.
