Description of Jobs Created The ARRA grant for Vocational Rehabilitation Services to States provided under the Recovery Act assists New York State in funding a statewide, comprehensive, coordinated, effective, efficient and accountable program of vocational rehabilitation. The State Education Department contracts with vendors to provide services through a competitive process. ARRA funds allow ACCES-VR???s' vendors to create and retain additional jobs needed to deliver services. ARRA funds will only be used to reimburse vendors for employee hours spent providing intensive supported employment services to ACCES-VR consumers. As a final count, 122 fte's were created or saved with this fund. The grant ended on 9/30/11.
