MOREHOUSE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, INC., THE
The main aim of this grant (administrative supplement) is to adquire equipments needed to develop the objectives of the parent grant. This grant is related to all Aims described in the Parent Grant that will use leptin peptide receptor antagonists (LPrAs) to block leptin signaling in cancer cells and in animal models for breast cancer. We would like to have a stable supply of LPrA peptides needed for the development of the investigations on leptin signaling in breast cancer. Concretly, we want to ask for funds to purchase a Peptide Synthesizer, a Cleveage Device and a HPLC system for peptide purification. We will synthesize, purify, and PEGylate LPrA peptides.
