X-ray crystallography using synchotron radiation is the dominant source of structural information of biological molecules and their assemblies:
The scope and specific aims of this request are:
1) complete the design of the production automounter based on the next-generation system that we have recently begun testing in our instrumentation development lab including state machine software.
2) documentation of the system including technical drawings, assembly drawings, and user manual.
3) implementation and testing of the production system at GMCA-CAT bend magnet beamline at the Advanced Photon Source.
