Quarterly Activities/Project Description This project (I-480 Westbound/US-75 Southbound Interchange) received the Nebraska 2012 Excellence in Interstate Highways and Expressways Concrete Paving Award. The following description covers Award Numbers 4809776, 4809777, 4809778, and 4809787, as they were components of an overall project covered by a single contract. This project has been completed and is under review. This bridge replacement project brought I-480 to a state of good repair, in downtown Omaha near the Creighton University campus. The project also included It improved traffic flow and safety by reconstructing this major interchange. Note: This project also involved non-ARRA funding (state funds) for preliminary engineering (PE), right-of-way acquisition, utilities relocation, construction engineering (CE), and portions of the project that were not eligible for federal aid.
