To have projects underway that will preserve our existing highway infrastructure and thereby prevent further decay, improve conditions, extend the overall life of roadways and bridges, and further other associated highway improvements. In some cases, the projects will improve safety and environmental conditions for the motoring public and/or pedestrians. |

The types of job positions with this project are many. There are Carpenters, Cement Masons/Finishers, Electricians, Ironworkers - both structural and reinforcement, and Mechanics. There is a large Laborer group which includes Air Tool Operators, Flaggers, Pavement Markers, Screeds, and other Unskilled Workers. There are many positions in the Power Equipment Operator group. They are Asphalt Distributors, Backhoe Operators, Bobcat Operators, Bulldozer Operators, Excavators, Gradalls, Milling Machine Operators, Oilers, Paver Operators, Roller Operators, Sidemen, and Sweepers. Another large group of job positions are truck drivers - dump, tack, water, and boom. |
