Recovery - Repair Energy Cool Roof B8350. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and transportation to perform all work in accordance with the requirements specified in the scope of work. The work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to replace the existing gravel ballast built-up roof of bldg 8350. Remove existing gravel ballast from the built-up roofing system (BUR). Install tapered insulation on top of the existing BUR system to provide a minimum slope of 1/2:12 to the roofing system. Install 1/4" dens deck roofingboard on top of the tappered insulation. Install PVC single-ply membrane roofing system. Replace metal flashings, gutters, downspouts, and drip edges. All metal shall be pre-finsihed "Redwood" in color with the exception of downspouts, which shall be "Marble Cream" in color. Paint roof equipment and unfinished materials on roof "Marble Cream" in color. This facility is located at Edwards Air Force Base, California.
