Infrastructure Purpose and Rationale The project improves safety and the usable service life of Runway 1-19 at Orange Municipal Airport. The runway was in poor condition with cracks in excess of 4" wide. The pavement was over 20 years old and the Airport did not have the funding to repair the landing surface.
