This Project is designed to determine the number and type of jobs in the current Delaware workforce considered green; Identify current vacancies and potential for growth to assist in placing workers in green jobs; Determine wages for green jobs both general and high wage with benefits; Identify skills, training and education required for green jobs; Analysis of current education and training systems to determine availability and deficiencies to meet demand and skill levels; Data Disseminination via hard copy published reports and brochures and electronically through various websites including DOL, WIB, career and technical schools, private sector profit and non profit orgaizations; Provide job seekers information on career readiness certificates and training opportunities for green jobs; Modification of job coding to provide green job information to the Joblink system allowing the dol to track and report employment demand and activity applicable to green jobs.
