Infrastructure Purpose and Rationale This grant is for the design and construction of a project to provide water service to 115 lots in the Heppner subdivision a rural area of Washoe County. This area has been significantly impacted by the recession. This project increases environmental protection of this subdivision, by providing a clean drinking water source for the households served, and reducing the drawdown of the shallow aquifer in the area. This project has funded 6.72 FTE's this quarter promoting economic recovery.
