JACOBS TECHNOLOGY INC.
Enhancements to the Rotorcraft Test Cell at the 14 x 22 Foot Subsonic Wind Tunnel ay the NASA Langley Research Center. The objective of this work is to enhance the 14x22 Foot Subsonic Wind Tunnel complex Rotorcraft Test Cell control room, test equipment and instrumentation to improve data quality and operational effectiveness and to expand the test capabilities at this complex, particularly for rotorcraft research. These enhancements will improve the basic research product and throughput particularly for the ARMD Fundamental Aeronautics Program, Subsonic Rotary Wing Project. This project will increase the size of the Rotorcraft Test Cell control room, provide environmentally controlled cabinets for the new Model Interface Racks and upgrade test equipment. The scope of the work will include the design, fabrication and installation of a new two-story Control Room; provide upgrades to the instrumentation model interface rack enclosures; and provide upgrades to the test equipment and instrumentation to improve the research data quality and the data throughput.
