The Carolina Blue Skies & Green Jobs Initiative is a bi-state effort to increase availability and use of alternative fuels simultaneously deploying alternative fuel vehicles and advanced technology vehicles in North and South Carolina. It will pursue a “fuel-neutral” approach to increase the availability of alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles and alternative fuel infrastructure in North and South Carolina, Create and retain jobs, Improve air quality by reducing emissions, and Insure project partners are well educated about their alternative fuel and advanced technology projects; and reach out to the public and other stakeholders to educate them about alternative fuels, alternative fuel vehicles and advanced technology vehicles.
