ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY, MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF


This is a Federal Fiscal Year 2009 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) stimulus grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. It provides a source of financing throughout Montana for the construction of water treatment facilities and associated infrastructure, green infrastructure, program administration and technical assistance activities. The primary purpose of the stimulus grant through DWSRF is to: preserve and create jobs and promote economic recovery through the investment in infrastructure projects that will improve water quality and will provide long term economic benefits. A set-aside for Public Water Supply Administration originally was for $1,142,354.00 and was reduced to $100,354.00 with the fifth amendment to the grant. The funds were transferred to make loans to communities.
