M. ARTHUR GENSLER JR. & ASSOCIATES, INC.
Gensler has been awarded a contract through the GSA for design and design-related services for the "Recovery" project entitled "Repairs and Alterations to the Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse located at 300 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, Hawaii". The initial contract award consists of the following services broken into two parts: PART I = Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole U.S. Courthouse (including Level 2 of the Federal Building) and PART II = Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole Federal Building (all but Level 2). Services to be provided for Part I and II include: Pre-Design (PD), Preliminary Concepts (PC), Final Concepts (FC), Design Development (DD), Construction Documents (50% CD), Construction Documents (100% CD),and Procurement Phase Services. This contract contains Options for the following services which the Government may exercise at a future date: PART I - Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole U.S. Courthouse and PART II - Federal Building - Option 1 - Construction Administration (CA), Option 2 - Commissioning (Cx), Option 3 - CA Extension (CA2) for PART 1 Only, and Option 4 - Project Closeout (Px). Options 1, 2 and 4 have now been exercised.

Option 2 (Commissioning) is 71% complete. Option 4 (Project Closeout) is 70% complete. Modification 5 for additional services related to additional procurement and cost estimating services is 78% complete. Modification 11 for Court Meetings is 76% complete. Modification 18 for additional staff in support of Construction Administration is 76% complete. Modification 19 for additional design services for Tenant Spaces, Common Areas, Acoustic Report and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit is still 94% complete. Modification 21 for additional Engineering Services is still 42% complete. Modification 24 for Renovation of Information Technology and Finance Spaces is 90% complete. Modification 24 for Renovation of IT and Finance Spaces is 95% Complete. Modification 25 for United States Marshall Service's Holding Cells and Sally Port is still 81% complete. Modification 26 for District Courtroom Reheat Design is 90% complete. Modification PS27 for Audio Visual Rack relocation is 100% complete. Modification PS29 for Judicial Conference Room Audio Visual Rack is 100% complete. Modification 30 for additional Engineering of Record services is 38% complete.
