Assist in operating statewide comprehensive, coordinated, effective and accountable programs of vocational rehabilitation, which are an integral part of a statewide workforce investment system; and designated to assess plan, develop, and provide vocational rehabilitation servcies for indivdiuals with disabilities, consistent with their strengths, resources, priorites, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interest, and informed choice, so that such individauls may prepare and engage in gainful employment. Since receiving the ARRA funds, we have been able to provide a variety of services that have an will improve outcomes for our consumers. We were able to open up all priority categories on the Order of Selection which eliminated our waiting list of 355 individuals. The combination of the funding between the ARRA Funding and our Section 110 grant funding, assisted in meeting our goal of closures as sucessfully rehabilitated for FFY2011. CRP's were provided enhancements including improved transportation through the purchase of vans and installation of an air conditioning system. |
