This grant was used for the support of public elementary, secondary, and postsecondary education and, as applicable, early childhood education programs and services. Because of the shortfall of revenue in Kansas, these funds helped save and retain jobs in public education. The funds assisted schools to continue making progress in the reform goals outlined by the U. S. Department of Education. Kansas utilized the stabilization funds this quarter for institutions of Higher Education in Kansas. The funds going to the Colleges and Universities were used to fund much needed renovations and remodeling projects. Part of the funds were also used to pay for staff salaries at those institutions, which in turn saved jobs. |

Bring Research Support Building in compliance with USDA standards. Electrical, HVAC and fire code improvements to an existing building for safety and efficiency. Replaced old windows with energy efficient thermally broken frames/glazing. Modernization of Cosmetology Program facility. |
