This is a Federal Fiscal Year 2009 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) stimulus grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. It provides a source of financing throughout Montana for the construction of wastewater treatment facilities and associated infrastructure, green infrastructure, estuary projects and program administration. The primary purposes of the stimulus grant through CWSRF are to: preserve and create jobs and promote economic recovery through the investment in infrastructure projects that will improve water quality and will provide long-term economic benefits.

Quarterly Activities/Project Description Multiple wastewater projects have received funding due to the ARRA funding. These projects vary from pipe main rehabilitation or replacement to work on treatment systems. All loans have closed and projects are drawing the funds as needed.

Construction jobs to perform the work required for the same projects throughout the state. The individual projects funded have allowed people to either maintain their job or start work again.
