The overall work effort on the .NET project is 99% complete and remains on schedule. To date, 137 of 139 paid deliverables are complete. Two deliverables have been late, one two weeks, the other four.
All screens, utilities, and reports have been completed. All software has been delivered and all production deployments are complete in all three WIC Programs. Remaining project work includes constructing the training environments for the three programs and fixing a small list of high priority defects in three applications: Client Service, Food Package Management, and Mobile Sync.

1. The Application Tester (Tester) will be required to test and demonstrate that the software will perform as defined by the business and technical requirements. The primary objectives of the Tester will be to work within the defined Test Strategy and Standards. The Tester may participate in the development of the Test Plan. The Tester will develop Test Data, Test Cases and Test Scripts to support a manual testing environment. A tester may be selected as an individual or part of a team to maintain the Test Environment which includes the hardware, software, change control and defect tracking.
2. The Business Analyst will be required to analyzing existing software applications, business requirements, and existing documentation and will create and update business requirements documentation. The business requirements will be used by the software development team to create screens and process, and by the test team to create test cases.
3. The Senior .Net Developer performs difficult and specialized work in the area of .NET application development. The Senior .Net Developer may be required to perform the duties of a individual programmer or lead programmer for the system or subsystem, coordinates the analytical and programming functions required to develop, adapt, convert and maintain applications, provide leadership and function as a team member in difficult, lengthy or assignments that utilize advanced programming techniques.
4. The Project Manager will be responsible for the over managment of the project including but no limited to: Project budget accountability, Recruiting project staff and consultants, Overall project planning, coordination and monitoring, Manage project deliverables, Record, manage and escalate project issues, and Provide status reporting to various levels of management.
5. The Technical Analyst will be required to analyzing existing software applications, business requirements, and existing documentation and will create and update technical documentation. The technical documents will be used by the software development team to create screens and process, and by the test team to create test cases. 6. The DBA will be required to create and maintain multiple test databases for all three states, refresh data as requested from the test team, assist in the migration of the Sybase ASA 8 database to ASA 12, and execute performance tuning as needed. 7. The .NET Architect designs and maintains the framwrok for the various applications, builds and deploys the applications to the test and production environments. The Architect is responsible for all aspects of acrchitectural design and standards. 8. The XMAL developer designs, develops and maintains GUI standards for the Graphical User Interface. The XMAL is the front-end code used by .NET for screen presentation. 9. The Test Manager is responsible for manging the test resources. She is also responsible for the overall quality of the application systems, ensuring they are thoroughly tested and meet the agreed acceptance standards. |
