Community Commerce Center to include: a new 13,850 SF municipal buiding that includes SIPs for the exterior wall and roof; fiber-cement siding and cast masonary veneer exterior finishes; Office furnishings and commercial kitchen equipment; aluminum storefront entrances, hollow metal and wood doors and holiow-metal frames. The roof structure will consist of parallel-chord trusses, SIPs, and standing seam Architectural metal roof panels. Mechanical systems are geo-thermal supplies VRF loop system; associated plumbing; associated electrical; fire spinkler system; municipal utility services; landscaping, asphalt pavement, concret sidewalk, erosion control, restoration of the work area. The Community Commerce Center bid opening was December 17th, action on bids at a special board meeting on December 20th, Fortney made a motion to accept low bid for the Community Commerce Center with Olympic Builders for $2,194,380 with Alternate No. 1 deduct for Spring 2011 Construction of -$33,000 and Alternate No. 5 addition for Portable Stage of +$9,330. Seconded by Heisz. A roll call vote taken: Zegiel, Fortney, Brudos, Winsor, and Heisz voted Yes. Murray was opposed. Motion carried. 100% complete |
