PATTERSON-HORTH, INC.
This project is to complete a study on the national guard base's sanitary sewer system piping. They are experiencing major I/I (illicit connections/infiltration) causing greater volume to be sent to the waste water utility. We are studying where the problem areas are and then rebuilding the sewer system. We expect to use a cure in place pipe lining procedure which will effectively provide a new pipe for another 50 years. This process can be completed with trenchless technology causing less disturbance to the activities on the ground level. We expect to repair approximately 30,000 linear feet of pipe on the base. The result will be a new sewer system that is more efficient and should reduce utility fees from the wastewater utility due to less volume.
