This project was completed in the third quarter and paid for through ARRA funding. The project involved constructing a new wall, reconfiguring the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC)system, installing wire mesh for an evidence room and reconfiguring various electrical, communications, and floor alarms. The new wall included installing drywall over sound board, constructing a frame with 20 gauge metal studs, installing metal mesh, and painting. Reconfiguring the HVAC required the installation of new ducts, registers, air balance dampers, and thermostats while connecting is to a system from another room. With the new evidence room in place, cipher locks were installed for security purposes. A new circuit panel needed to be installed in the fourth floor electrical room, which had to connect to the fifth floor. Installation of new quad outlets, receptables, and conduits were needed. A fire alarm also needed to be installed in the room. |

A full time superintendent was needed for this job to oversee the project and to make sure it was completed on time and within the budget. They have the responsibility of coordinating activities with the end users and our company. Other jobs such as electricians, painters, drywallers, etc. were retained throughout this project and wages were provided through ARRA funding. |
