Project goals include enhanced economic development, broadband communications within the county, and intergovernmental communications.

Quarterly Activities/Project Description This quarter we placed 249 feet of strand, 1,624 feet of conduit and innerduct, and 9,057 feet of backbone and lateral fiber optic cables. We have submitted a total of 3,867 PGE permits and have approval for 3,495, or 91% of the PGE permits have been approved (we have submitted for more PGE permits than we will use trying to find the most efficient route). We only need the 45 PGE pole permits for the PGE Reliability Project on State Highway 26 to finish the projects backbone route. We have secured 1 more Service Level Agreement with a public institution representing 5 anchor sites, bringing our total to 17 SLA?s and around 140 anchor sites. We connected an additional 22 anchor sites to our fiber network which brings the total to 132, or 84% of the projected 158 anchor sites. We have fielded 165 miles of the approved fiber route which is 98% of the total. CAD is complete for 165 miles, or 98% of the total.
