UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS SYSTEM
The primary goal of the grant, "Measuring Quality Adjusted life years in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders" , is to investigate methods of measuring quality adjusted life years (QALYS) for cost-effectiveness analysis of interventions to treat children with ASDs. We are trying to evaluate the feasibility of measuring QALYS in chidren with ASDs as well as their caregivers. In particular we are interested in whether generic instruments for describing QALYS as recommended by the Public health Service can capture these effects.
