The project has impacted all the nursing students in Bayamón
Associate Baccalaureate(434) and Masters (86) in the development of various nursing skills, according to the course and to the level, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Health Assessment. Students have been exposed to different levels of complex Clinical nursing situations so that they can analyze the situation and decide the best nursing interventions, providing for the development of critical thinking skills and clinical judgment. The results of the assessment project indicate that students have improved in the use of critical thinking and analytical judgement. Students are using the lab more frequently and are more confident in relation to their skills and to their nursing interventions. They love learning in a different way.
