| Quarterly Activities/Project Description |
Finalizing resolution for outstanding installation issues at five CAIs.
Completed the video infrastructure system implementation.
Completed approximately 80% implementation of MVP/Public Safety project.
(7) Outreach activities: Project overview to five hospital CAIs that included members of the Arkansas Legislature; project update to the Advanced House Communications and IT Committee of the Arkansas Legislature; overview and tour to an Arkansas legislative group.
Continued media events for regional outreach and public relations (television and newspapers).
Program Managers met with approximately 225 staff at 23 community anchor institutions (CAIs).
The Principal Investigator for the UAS BTOP grant (Curtis Lowery, MD) served on a panel at Brookings Institute at the invitation of NTIA, highlighting the Arkansas project.
Three AARs were submitted for approval: address/name changes, CAI replacement (no construction), and route modification (required by the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department).
Approval received from NTIA to proceed with upfront funding of leased facilities to complete 36 months.
Placed one new hut.
Completed engineering and began manufacturing for the remaining two huts.
Completed fiber lateral construction at East Camden and Malvern, with projects in Beebe and North Little Rock still in progress.
Progress was made to complete hut punch lists.
Finalized electrical wiring at huts.
Began rework of grounds at three hut sites due to soggy soil conditions.
Completed hot staging of all optical and router equipment. |
