Quarterly Activities/Project Description	Kaumualii Highway, Route 50, from just west of the Lihue Mill Bridge to Rice Street will be widened from an undivided two-lane highway to a divided four-lane highway. Improvements include widening the pavement section to accommodate adding two travel lanes and a median, constructing a new two lane bridge over Nawiliwili Stream, rehabilitating and widening the existing Lihue Mill Bridge, and realigning Hoomano Road. Associated work includes constructing a drainage system, relocating utilities, and installing lighting, median landscaping, and pavement signing, striping, and marking. The work will be performed through a design build contract.
