Install Advanced Metering at the US Mission to the United Nations
Provide engineering, equipment, supervision, material and labor for the installation of advanced metering. Components include two (2) electrical meters, one (1) steam meter, one (1) domestic water meter and associated cabling for interface with existing GSA (General Services Administration) advanced metering system network. Furnish construction and as-built drawings.
As an option, provide engineering, equipment, supervision, material and labor for the installation of advanced metering. Components include three (3) switchboard meters, one (1) district chilled water meter and one (1) fuel oil meter and associated cabling for interface with existing GSA (General Services Administration) advanced metering system network. Furnish construction and as-built drawings.
RGBS will be installing electrical, steam and water meters in the building. The purpose of these meters is to measure the energy consumption of the building. The meters will be linked together for remote viewing capability.
The energy consumption of the building will be monitored and recorded remotely. The readings can be used for energy conservation measures, different ways to save energy. Also, the information can be used to determine if there is a problem with one of the utilities.
