This contract involves the Hydraulic Cutter Suction Dredge Illinois performing maintenance dredging to 16 feet in the Newburyport Harbor with beach disposal of the medium to fine sand on Plum Island and/or Salisbury Beach. Approximately 40,000 cubic yards will be placed at Salisbury Beach with the remaining 103,500 going to Plum Island. The only portion of this contract funded by ARRA stimulus monies is the dredging of the first 110,600 cubic yards.
