During this period, responsibility for the following initiatives was transitioned back to the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC): Lab Orders Interface (LOI), Lab Results Interface (LRI), Transitions of Care (ToC), Query Health (QH), Data Segmentation for Privacy (DS4P), Query Health (QH), and the Electronic Submission of Medical Documentation (esMD). Each initiative was broken down into workgroups and workstreams that focused on the development of key products to facilitate interoperability in the realm of health care. These products included vocabulary and code set definitions, data models, clinical information models, clinical element data dictionaries, and Implementation Guidance. All deliverables for these projects were completed per contract requirements and submitted to the client. During this period, the Standards Interoperability and Testing Platform initiative was initiated in order to answer questions from software developers regarding the use of mandated standards. We are responsible for developing and managing the components of the platform, including a knowledge base, public forum, and issue tracker. We are also facilitating discussions with stakeholders, including relevant standard development organizations (SDOs), to identify subject matter experts to resolve questions submitted to the platform |
