The Sponsor will contract for a design, contract to install and oversee construction of best management practices for stormwater remediation measures at the following sites:
The stormwater best management practices will capture and treat the first flush of one inch of rainfall over the contributing impervious watershed. The design and construction of the system shall meet and conform to NRCS Practice Standard 570, Runoff Management System in addition to local and state requirements. Treatment shall include sediment removal and soil infiltration of the first flush. Rainfall collection systems shall include precast catch basins with a minimum diameter of four (4) feet and a minimum four (4) foot deep sump for sediment removal. Infiltration systems shall include but not be limited to: precast concrete and/or manufactured plastic leaching structures with appropriate piping networks, and constructed porous pavement. The storage capacity of the leaching structures shall be equal to the volume of the first flush of one inch of rainfall over the contributing impervious watershed.
Other components may include outlet protection, road re-surfacing/patching and bituminous berms. Other work shall include items typically associated with road construction projects such as but not limited to traffic control, pollution control, structure removal and disposal, loaming and seeding, and safety measures.
