UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS
This project brings together 21 partner organizations to create a coordinated framework for technology literacy across Alaska generating up to 5,168 new broadband users and providing training to over 22,278 Alaskans. The project focuses on building local broadband capacity in rural, isolated communities and villages and will create 76 new jobs in healthcare, education, and technology assistance.

The Bridging the e-Skills Gap Sustainable Broadband Adoption in Alaska is successfully promoting broadband awareness and training opportunities in rural Alaska. Of the 62,691 documented activities of providing broadband awareness and training, 28,378 of the discreet sessions (participants) account for 52,742 hours of training. The project has documented an increase in 8,728 broadband subscriptions in Alaska. |
