The purpose of this award is to strengthen the link between evidence production and strategies for conveying information in ways that encourage the uptake of CER among providers and patients. IDEO shall conceptualize, design, pilot, evaluate and recommend best methods for delivery of CER information to patients/consumers and providers at the point of care in ways that they will understand and utilize. IDEO will develop and test innovative systems to provide sustainable, up-to-date and usable comparative effectiveness information for physicians, patients and consumers. IDEO's key deliverables for this award are: Create a Conceptual Framework, Plan and Conduct Consumer & Provide Focused Research, Provide a Summary Report of Consumer & Provider Research, Design Pilot Implementation, Conduct a Pilot Test of the designs for consumers, physicans and providers, and prepare Final Report of all Research and Pilot findings
