ERRG has been contracted to perform remediation activities on Ford Island, Oahu, Hawaii. The scope of work is to excavate and dispose of suspected pesticide contaminated soil; perform confirmation soil sampling; backfill the excavation with clean fill; and restore ground conditions to match the surrounding area. Fieldwork for the project will include activities associated with the removal of pesticide contaminated soil including: (1) site mobilization and preparation activities, (2) implementation of best management practices, (3) surveying, (5) soil excavation, (6) soil disposal, (7) soil confirmation sampling, (8) backfilling of the excavation, (9) revegetation of the excavation area, and (10) installation of a temporary irrigation system. ERRG will also prepare project plans and submittals for the project, including the following: Work Plan (WP) that includes a Waste Management Plan (WMP) and an Environmental Protection Plan (EPP), Quality Control Plan (QCP), Site Health and Safety Plan (SHSP), Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP), Remediation Verification Report (RVR), and a CD-ROM of project deliverables (plans, reports, disposal documentation, certifications, etc.).
