The purpose of this project was to monitor the indoor air quality at 11 GSA properties throughout the planned and on-going ARRA-funded renovation projects. The sites include: USPO Loop Station, John C. Kluczynski Federal Bldg., 10 W. Jackson, Chicago, IL, John Weld Peck Federal Bldg., Anthony J. Celbrezze Federal Bldg., Patrick V. McNamara Federal Bldg., Birch Bayh Federal Bldg. & Crthouse, Minton-Capehart Federal Bldg., Major General Emmet J. Bean Federal Ctr., Bishop Henry Whipple Bldg. and recently added Joseph P. Kinneary US Crthouse. The project includes conducting indoor air quality monitoring for temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, particulate, volatile organic compounds, and formaldehyde on nine separate occasions. The testing is done with one technician visiting the properties using direct reading, datalogging equipment. After each sampling event, reports are created that transmit the results of the testing. The base year value of the contract is $108,480. Option I was originally for $81,360, but with addition of 11th location (Joseph P. Kinnery U.S. Courthouse) was increased by $12,264. Option II had funding recinded via Amend/Mod PA04. Final Total of funding was $202,104. Carnow Conibear did not anticipate use any subcontractors to complete the work.
Intially Carnow Conibear told this was not under this contract/award number, but August, 2012, we were informed that it is included. Three invoices were issued. Work was for indoor air quality checks, level 2 performed at Minton-Capehard Federal Bldg., SSA Offices, Indianapolis, IN. Work was performed January, 2011, March, 2011, and May, 2011. FTE for this work in first quarter was .13 and for the second quarter was .05.
