Quarterly Activities/Project Description Submitted Phase II project Proposal and Completed Phase I Final Report. The Final Report will be submitted once Patent Filings have been completed on or before march 8, 2011. During the last Quarter the only activity was the completion of the Final Report. In summary, the results of this SBIR Phase I technical effort confirmed that the self-actuated, blade articulation system for a Wells-type turbine is viable and will save cost in the manufacturing of the turbine while also increasing the range of air flow (by 100%!) and efficiency (by 10-15%).
