Award Documents received on 10/19/2009; A second RFI was due to the Agency April 9th. A total of 14 projects were submitted. A third RFI was due October 1, 2010 and five projects were submitted. All of the funding has been committed and drawdown is occuring.
Fourteen projects have been deemed eligible by the USEPA(Cleveland Public Theater, Fairborn Theater, 1341 Building Famicos Project, Colony Theater, OSU Hayes Hall, Landmark Building, Stan Hywet, SS Willis Boyer, Harrison House, Castle Knoll, the Agora Theater, Toledo's Madison Building, YSU's Garfield Building, and Youngstown's City Court Annex). However, the Agora Theater project has withdrawn their request for funding effective 4/1/2011 and the OSU Hayes Hall project committment was rescended 10/30/2011.
All twelve agreements have been executed and completed: Famicos Foundation 1341 Building Project, Cleveland Public Theater, Fairborn Theater, Colony Theater, the SS Willis Boyer, Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, City of Columbus, the City of Akron, the City of Youngstown, the Harry M. and Violet Turner Charitable Trust's Castle Knoll project and the City of Toledo's Madison Building project and YSU's Garfield Building.
A one-year extension was granted by USEPA because eligible projects can still be funded with the remaining grant allocation.
Two projects have applied for funding, with one project being eligible and applying for the remaider of the funding. The project will be complete by grant expiration date of 9/30/2013.
Total drawdown of funding (3/31/13): $1,690,126.65.
