BRIGHTON, CITY OF
To purchase law enforcement equipment and supplies. Specifically, the JAG funds will be used to purchase a computerized-voice stress analysis system that includes peripherals and proprietary software, a mobile license plate reader, four cameras, cables and related software, and five police bicycles including extra chains, tires, lights, and tubes. Safety equipment will also be purchased including helmets and uniforms. Funding will also be used for specialized training and recertification of bicycle officers.

deployed a patrol car equiped with the electronic license plate reader.
The latest statistics regarding illegal application of graffiti shows a continued drop in reports in 2012. It is believed this is a result of the deployment of ARRA funded video
